Lingfield legends: Three course specialists form a massive 83-1 treble 🐎

Lingfield Park Racecourse

Lingfield is a track which tends to favour horses who have run well there in the past. As such, Liam Bramall has picked out three horses with excellent records at the track who are running on Tuesday and they form a massive 83-1 treble. 3.25 Lingfield

Wonder Elmossman (11-4, William Hill) returns under a penalty having won cosily over course and distance last Monday. The field was well spread out that day making the win very visually impressive although the form is yet to be tested. He is yet to be out of the first two in three starts at Lingfield so that stats suggest he shouldn’t be far away as long as he has sufficiently recovered from his exertions last week. It’s also worth pointing out that this horse has only been out of the first two once over a mile and that sole disappointment came in a warm race at Newmarket.

4.00 Lingfield

Impeach (11-4, William Hill) appears to be a horse on an upwards curve who has improved significantly since the turn of the year. Last time out we saw a very impressive performance from this gelding which has seen him receive a 5lb hike in the handicap. With a record of three wins and a second in five starts here at Lingfield, he simply cannot be ignored. Added to his course form, his record over 6f is very impressive with three wins and four places in 10 starts.

4.35 Lingfield

Swiss Pride (5-1, bet365) runs well this time of year and is now rated 2lb lower than his last winning mark. He’s very experienced round here with 17 starts under his belt and this record includes five wins and seven places. The form of his second to Impeach last time out has been boosted by the sixth winning subsequently. Having been second in this race last year off a 6lb higher mark, a big run is surely expected.
