Liam tips four horses under the lights at Wolverhampton with a Tuesday Lucky 15 💡

Wolverhampton Racecourse

There’s a competitive eight-race card at Wolverhampton and despite them not being the strongest of races, they should be entertaining. Liam Bramall has picked out four horses to consider putting into a Lucky 15. Check out our free tips page for daily content across British and Irish racing.

6.30 Wolverhampton

Grand Cru Gaga (4-1, William Hill) is progressing with each start and none more so than when winning by four lengths at Ffos Las last time out. The second is no mug and she could hardly have been more impressive. This is her handicap debut off an opening mark of 75. That’s pretty reasonable on the evidence of her win and she should improve again. It’s unlikely that we’ve seen the best of her yet and another win could be on the cards.

7.00 Wolverhampton

Connections have wasted not time in sending Pearl Eye (7-1, bet365) handicapping after the minimum of three starts. Much better at Chelmsford last time, he kept on at the one pace over the minimum trip. Handicapping was always going to be his game and this opening mark of 62 is workable. Goes up to 7f for the first time which could be significant on handicap debut.

7.30 Wolverhampton

Minwah‘s (11-2, bet365) sights have been significantly lowered here on just her second handicap start in Britain. Out of her depth in the Sandringham at Royal Ascot on stable debut. Fair efforts in novice and maiden company since so this looks like a cracking opportunity to get off the mark. Was rated 93 when running at Ascot and this current rating of 76 looks much more realistic.

8.00 Wolverhampton

Arthur’s Victory (4-1, bet365) wasn’t beaten very far at all when third at Yarmouth two starts ago off a 1lb lower mark. Disappointed on soft ground over 1m2f at Epsom last time so coming back to an extended mile looks very likely to suit. Can gain her third career victory here if she puts it all together.
