ITV Racing horses for courses: three runners form huge 287-1 Saturday treble 🐎

Course form can be absolutely crucial when looking for a winner. If you know your way around a place, you are going to have an advantage over somebody who has never been there before. The same applies to horses – knowing your way around a venue is always a big advantage. Adrian Wall has picked out three former course winners running live on ITV Racing on Saturday. The treble returns massive odds. Best of luck if you have a play.

2.20 Ascot

The only horse with winning course experience is the John Golden trained Stowell, who will have Frankie Dettori in the saddle. The colt won his maiden over this course and distance last May and was a creditable third here in the Queen’s Vase subsequently when upped in distance. In need of the run in the John Porter when third at Newmarket in April, he should strip much fitter now.

3.50 Lingfield

Pearl Glory looks way overpriced at first glance being the sole course winner in the lineup. The filly won on debut here over 6f last year and followed up at Salisbury. She finished second in a Salisbury Group 3 and failed to land a blow at Newmarket when last seen. The time to catch her could be fresh around a track she loves.

4.05 Ascot

Dark Shift is three wins from four at Ascot which is phenomenal and he could enhance that on seasonal reappearance. He bolted up here on his debut over 6f, and won a handicap over track and trip last September. Rounding off his campaign last year with a win here over a mile, a strong pace will suit this hold up horse who should be flying at the death.
