ITV Outsiders: 25-1, 20-1 and 14-1 Racing League tips at Southwell on Wednesday 🏆

The Racing League concludes at Southwell on Wednesday and there’s another competitive seven-race card to look forward to. The ITV cameras will be there to cover all seven races once again and it should be a good evening of racing. We’ve selected three outsiders at substantial prices for you to consider, whose chances are better than their odds suggest. You can check out our free tips page for daily content across British and Irish racing.

5.45 Southwell

Madame Christine (20-1, Paddy Power) looks likely to be suited by the switch to handicaps and significant improvement could be on the cards. She bumped into a smart winner here over 7f when last seen and her best effort to date came over 6f at Newcastle. The return to this trip might allow her to finish with more zest and a big run is expected on handicap debut.

6.45 Southwell

Fools Rush In (25-1, bet365) has been desperately out of form this season and comes with obvious risks attached. Having said that, the further he slides down the weights, the more attractive a proposition he becomes. This gelding’s last win came off a mark of 95 in July 2022 and he’s currently on a 13lb lower mark. He certainly has the ability to run a big race and this rating is hard to overlook.

8.45 Southwell

Percy Shelley (14-1, William Hill) had some very useful form in France when trained by Stephane Wattel. He won three races at up to 1m3f and finished third in Listed company. This is his debut for David O’Meara and although it’s hard to know what to make of this mark, it would be no surprise to see him run a massive race.
