Horse who was pulled up on sole hurdles start backed from 50-1 into 18-1 📈

Stratford Racecourse

Our resident horse racing man Adrian Wall has always been an avid market watcher. He has spotted a pretty large ongoing gamble taking place in the 1.45pm at Stratford Racecourse today. Don’t miss out on our posts on Twitter @myracingtips where you can message us directly and have your say. Our free horse racing tips are also available every single day and we have been in terrific form this month. Let’s take a closer look at this big gamble in more detail below.

1.45 Stratford

It is always interesting when money comes for a horse at the Philip Kirby yard and with that in mind, Noonie has to be of interest in the opening mares’ maiden hurdle over two miles. She was pulled up on her stable debut and hurdling debut for this yard at Doncaster last month following an absence and wind surgery and there’s reason to believe we will see a different horse today.

Noonie was placed on the Flat five times when trained by Edward Bethell so there is clearly ability in the locker. She does have a lot to prove in this sphere but this is a very weak maiden hurdle and it certainly won’t take a lot of winning. It has been a decent enough season for Kirby, who is operating at 11 per cent which is much better than the previous three years (9%, 6% and 9%).

Kirby is 0 from eight at the track in the last five years which is a slight concern but that’s from a small sample size. Ultimately, when the money comes for a horse at this yard, you have to stand up and take note.
