We have an exciting weekend of ITV action in store for us and it kicks off on Friday, with seven races on the schedule. Windsor, Market Rasen and Newcastle are the courses being covered and you won’t want to miss out. ITV racing means outsiders, so we’ve selected three horses at big prices who may have been a little unfairly overlooked. These include a massive 66/1 shot, who appears to be going the right way. Take a look at our free tips page for daily content across British and Irish racing.
All The Glory (18/1, bet365) is well treated on her hurdling form and was last successful off this very mark at Southwell last year. Fences haven’t seen her to best effect so far but the return to 2m4f should be in her favour. Clearly more is needed but she’s sliding down the weights and that makes her interesting.
Potters Angeltiers (66/1, bet365) showed little in her first couple of starts but there were clear signs of improvement at Huntingdon last time. Finishing third that day, it wouldn’t be a surprise if the winner ends up being a smart mare and Matt Crawley’s five-year-old showed signs of greenness. This isn’t a strong Listed contest and she could surprise a few by making the frame at a big price.
Fivethousandtoone (25/1, bet365) is a much better horse on artificial surfaces and his all-weather form puts him right in this. Tim Easterby’s eight-year-old got the better of Pocklington when winning over course and distance in June and is currently on just a 1lb higher mark. Narrowly denied off a higher mark at Wolverhampton in July, it’s very easy to make a strong case for him here.
