‘He’s a Grade 1 winner running off 139’ – 28/1, 16/1 and 14/1 ITV Outsiders on Sunday

It has been a very busy weekend for the ITV Racing crew, with Friday and Saturday’s action both being covered. The cameras will be out again on Sunday and they will be showing nine races from Windsor, Thurles and Fakenham. We had two selections placing at 40/1 and 28/1 on Friday so we’re back with another three outsiders to follow. This time we have 28/1, 14/1 and 14/1 tips on offer and you wont want to miss out. Check out our free tips page for daily content across British and Irish racing.

2.25 Windsor

Captain Teague (14/1, Boylesports) won the Challow Hurdle as a novice hurdler and he brings a high level of form to the table with that in mind. He’s a Grade 1 winner running off 139 in a handicap and definitely has the ability to run a big race. There were excuses for his poor display over fences at Newbury when last seen and provided he’s fit enough, a big run could well be on the cards.

2.40 Fakenham

Jacks Touch (14/1, Betfred) has a pretty good record over fences under rules, winning three times and placing a further three times in just 10 starts. This Sarah Humphrey-trained mare bumped into an impressive winner when second over course and distance last time out and the handicapper has dropped her 2lb since. She has won off higher marks in the past and shouldn’t be ruled out.

3.35 Windsor

Rockinastorm (28/1, bet365) is potentially still unexposed over marathon trips and he was a fair third over a similar trip at Haydock in March. Henry Daly’s nine-year-old is back down to his last winning mark, which came on soft ground at Wetherby in December 2024, and he could be dangerously overpriced here.
