‘He’ll make a mockery of this penalty’ – last time out winners form 411-1 Monday acca 🏅

There are a total of 10 last time out winners running at Catterick and Lingfield on Monday afternoon. Some of these have more scope for further improvement than others. With this in mind, Liam Bramall has selected the four who are most likely to return to the winners’ enclosure. Check out our free tips page for daily content across British and Irish racing.

2.20 Catterick

Talamanca (6-4, bet365) got off the mark at the sixth time of asking at Windsor last time out. That victory couldn’t have come in more impressive fashion as the gelding scored by over six lengths. On that evidence, he should make a mockery of this 6lb penalty. The second had won its previous start which makes that form much stronger than anything else on offer.

3.00 Lingfield

Attentive (4-1, bet365) has been off the track for almost 200 days which is a slight negative. She makes her debut for John Butler having won on her final start in a claimer for William Haggas. It’s difficult to know what to make of the form but the fifth has boosted it by winning since. As she’s still lightly raced, there’s plenty of scope for improvement in handicaps.

3.20 Catterick

Far From A Ruby (5-1, bet365) got a confidence-boosting win at Ayr last time out after back-to-back second-place finishes. That was a cosy victory and Katie Scott’s mare was only put up 3lb by the handicapper. As she has won off 64 as recently as September, there should be scope for her to win again off her current mark of 62.

4.55 Catterick

Golden Gal (9-2, bet365) is on a career-high mark of 61 after her course and distance victory when last seen. She’s a pretty consistent three-year-old with a decent record at Catterick which bodes well here. This new mark shouldn’t be beyond her and further improvement could be on the cards.
