‘He has huge potential’ – Willie Mullins is really excited about this horse’s prospects 🤩

Willie Mullins at the 2018 Cheltenham Festival

We’ve got yet another potential Mullins superstar on our hands as an exciting prospect burst onto the scene on Tuesday. Willie Mullins was very vocal about the horse in question after its victory at Naas. The win resulted in the horse being slashed into 12-1 from 14-1 for the Ballymore at Cheltenham. Ireland’s champion trainer could hardly contain his excitement about the horse’s potential. Check out our free tips page for daily content across British and Irish racing.

‘There is not too many that will do that’

Impaire Et Passe is the horse in question and he scored by an impressive 18 lengths on his Irish debut. You would imagine it’s difficult to impress Willie Mullins with the legions of quality horses at his disposal. That being said, he’s clearly very excited about this one. “He galloped out through the line and on that ground, there is not too many that will do that today,” Mullins said.

Simon Munir and Isaac Suede are the lucky owners who have another smart one on their hands and they must be very excited to see how far this horse will go. These sentiments were echoed by the trainer after the race, who said: “He has huge potential and is one to look forward to for Simon and Isaac.”

A son of Diamond Boy, his trainer has also hinted at when we will see him next: “He’s not entered in the Lawlors and maybe we could look at the Moscow Flyer in Punchestown.” Mullins offered. One thing is for sure, there will be plenty of interested parties wherever we see him next.
