Gamble alert: Richard Fahey runner smashed in to 10-1 from 50-1 on Thursday 🚨

There’s a substantial gamble underway for Chelmsford‘s meeting this evening. One runner has seen its price capitulate. Isadora’s Gift (10-1, bet365) is the subject of this monster gamble. A daughter of Tasleet, her debut effort at Newcastle was perfectly satisfactory. She finished fourth of 10 and was beaten by three-and-a-quarter lengths. The form of that effort is largely untested, although the only runner which has been seen since did let the form down at Wolverhampton. Fahey’s filly showed an excellent attitude, keeping on to the line despite being outpaced. This trait will stand her in good stead going forward.

On the evidence of that effort, the filly should be capable of progressing nicely. She showed plenty during the race and is entitled to improve for that run both mentally and physically. A huge run could quite feasibly be on the cards as there should be more to come.

There is an argument to be made that the market is correcting itself as the filly never looked a 50-1 shot on the evidence of that run. That being said, this sustained support has put her on the edge of going into single figures. The performances of Richard Fahey runners can often be at the mercy of the markets so it could be a situation to keep an eye on throughout the day.
