🚨 Gamble alert: Naas runner’s price in freefall on Saturday morning 🚨

There’s a significant gamble taking place in a race at Naas on Saturday. The horse was available at 20-1 on Friday night and has been backed in to a best price of 15-2. That price is only available with two firms however and the lowest price on offer is 11-2. Gamble’s always come with risks attached but it’s certainly interesting that the horse’s price has collapsed to this degree. 3.08 Naas

The James McAuley owned and trained Breakfast Club is the subject of the big gamble. He comes into the race very well handicapped on his best form. Last time out the gelding finished third over a mile which is a much better performance and offers some hope here.

Breakfast Club has been unable to recapture the level of form shown back in 2020 where he reached a career-high mark of 84. His sole career victory came at Cork over 5f off a mark of 71. Now that his turf rating has sunk to 52, he looks like a well handicapped horse.

Dropping back down to 6f isn’t a hugely convincing move as he was keeping on over a mile at Bellewstown last time. The market support is coming from somewhere however and Ireland is the home of big gambles. It’ll certainly be one to keep an eye on throughout the day.
