It’s always difficult to find winners but one method which can give you an advantage is to pick horses with proven records at the track. We’ve found four such horses that are running on Wednesday and their records are outstanding. The four horses which are running at Bath and Pontefract have won 17 times at their respective tracks between them. These include seven-time and five-time course scorers and we’ve put them into a Lucky 15. Check out our free tips page for daily content across British and Irish racing.
Delagate This Lord (6-1, bet365) is a vastly experienced nine-year-old and has run at Bath 15 times. He’s a seven-timer winner here and this includes his last two starts. Robyn Brisland’s veteran is unbeaten since joining this yard and he’s fully expected to run his race once again.
Carrigillihy (3-1, William Hill) has an awesome record at Pontefract and has won five of his seven starts here. Four of those wins have come over 1m4f and he attempts 2m1f this time. The handicapper has dropped him a pound for his latest run at Haydock and he should have every chance, provided the trip is no issue.
Galactic Glow (9-2, bet365) has a 75 per cent strike-rate at Bath, winning three of his four starts there. All three of those wins came over 1m2f and he attempts an extended 1m3f. He was a little disappointing last time out but the handicapper has dropped him 2lb and Mohammed Tabti returns to the saddle, having won on him in a handicap here back in June.
My Ambition (15-8, bet365) is a two-time course and distance winner. Denis Coakley’s charge can perhaps be forgiven for his one disappointing effort at Bath as it was his first start of the season and may well have needed the run. He’s in cracking form, looks progressive and should go well again.
