Brighton experts: Four course specialists form tantalising Lucky 15 on Tuesday 🍀

Brighton is an unusual track and it tends to have a lot of horses who return again and again. It’s undulating and sharp which some horses are better at handling than others. Liam Bramall has picked out four horses with excellent track records running on Monday to put into a Lucky 15. Check out our free tips page for content across all British and Irish racing.

1.00 Brighton

Big Time Maybe (4-1, William Hill) won two on the spin here back in June. The second victory came off a mark of 54 and this gelding finds himself on a 3lb lower mark. For this reason he is of obvious interest but his overall record here makes him stand out further. He has a 50 per cent strike-rate here with three wins in six starts. In 2021 alone his strike-rate was even better at 66 percent having won two out of three starts.

2.00 Brighton

De Vegas Kid (10-1, bet365) Has been in the frame in nine of his 12 starts at Brighton which includes four victories. It would be foolish not to consider him as his record stands at four wins and five places in 12 starts. Granted, it has been a while since he got his head in front but he’s now rated 17lb lower than his last winning mark and running at a track which has proven to be a happy hunting ground.

2.30 Brighton

Zulu Girl (8-1, William Hill) is yet to be out of the first two in three starts at Brighton. She won in August off a mark of 75 and now finds herself on 76. Hopefully her first run of the season has brought her on as she raced as if she needed it. She’s a gutsy and likeable mare who should run a big race.

4.00 Brighton

Junoesque (9-4, bet365) is a frequent visitor here and has an exemplary record of seven wins and two places in 14 starts. One of those wins came last time out where she won over 1m2f off a 3lb lower mark. Having won here last summer off 56 you would imagine she has it in her to win off the 1lb higher mark she has now. The 1m4f trip isn’t a massive positive but if she’s going to stay the trip it’s likely that it’ll be here on a sharp track.
