‘All four love it round here’ – Chelmsford specialists form each-way Lucky 15 🍀

There’s a competitive six-race card taking place at Chelmsford on Thursday and finding winners is always hard. Selecting horses with proven track records is one way to go. 5.45 Chelmsford

Expeditious (11-2, bet365) is defending a 100 per cent record here having won on her only start at the track. That victory came at the expense of a subsequent winner which provides a healthy boost to the form. A consistent filly, it would be no surprise to see her pick up another win in a race such as this. She wasn’t disgraced in a Goodwood Nursery last time so another big effort is expected here.

6.15 Chelmsford

Healing Power (5-1, bet365) is the only runner in the race to have won at Chelmsford before. Ivan Furtado’s gelding has also placed a couple of times in his nine starts here. He won two starts ago and was only narrowly denied last time out with both of these runs coming at Lingfield. Appearing off the same mark as last time, one would expect him to be there or thereabouts.

7.15 Chelmsford

Finery (12-1, bet365) has an exceptional course record. In four starts here, she is yet to finish out of the first two whilst winning twice. This includes a second-placed effort back in April off a mark of 63 and she now finds herself on a 2lb lower mark. Mick Appleby’s charge last won off 58 and the closer she gets to that mark, the more appealing a proposition she becomes.

7.45 Chelmsford

Engrave (10-1, bet365) is a regular here with 21 starts under her belt. The six-year-old mare has won five times during her career and every single victory has come at Chelmsford. Added to this, she has placed a further seven times here which means she runs her race more often than not. Having last won in December off 64, she now finds herself on a 6lb lower mark.
