Adrian Wall’s Outsiders: 66-1 & 11-1 tips form a huge 803-1 Plumpton double

Plumpton Racecourse

It has been a while since we have seen a track with some genuine good ground. Thankfully, we will have good spring-like ground at Plumpton on Monday afternoon.

Adrian Wall is back with two outsiders who should outrun their prices. The tips are 66-1 and 11-1 but they combine to form a monster 803-1 double. Prices are correct with William Hill at the time of posting.

12.30 Plumpton

Fifteen runners are due to go to post for this competitive mares handicap hurdle. The one that interests me the most is the bottom weight, Ayr Of Elegance of the Jeffreys stable.

She won over hurdles for Henry De Bromhead in Ireland, but has yet to fire for her new stable. Last time out was seen running poorly in first-time cheekpieces at Wincanton. Blinkers are now tried but she has dropped to an incredible lenient mark.

2.05 Plumpton

Gary Moore has a fantastic record at Plumpton and he saddles the favourite Dorking Boy, would could prove difficult to beat. He also sends out Ray’s The One who is no forlorn hope.

There should be some each-way value in the race and it is interesting that Spectaculardisplay has had a wind operation prior to his racecourse debut.

The yard isn’t synonymous with winning newcomers but the five-year-old is well bred by Camelot. Plumpton is Bridgwater’s second best track in terms of statistics. He has sent out 83 career winners around here. A big run could be on the cards.
