Adrian Wall NAPS Willie Mullins horse at a huge price on Thursday

Wille Mullins has some decent chances on opening day.

Never be afraid of a price when you fancy a horse. We have all been there. Have you ever looked at a horse and thought to yourself “I really fancy that horse but he is 25-1 so he surely can’t win?”.

That mentality is the worst that you can have when you are a punter. Go with your gut and trust your instinct. I might get egg on my face tomorrow but I think a horse at Listowel is going to be massively overpriced in the betting.

I fancy this horse strongly and it will be the MyRacing NAP of the Day on Thursday. If you feel like going each-way then that could be a wise play but it is up to you. Let us take a closer look at the horse in question below.

4.35 Listowel

Trained by the master himself, the Willie Mullins-trained Baby Zeus is a massive player in this Premier Handicap. Yes, it is an ultra-competitive race and I may be mad putting up a NAP in such a race, but I think this could be the day for this horse.

The four-year-old son of Footstepsinthesand last won at the Curragh back in May over 1m2f on heavy ground. He is a horse that needs to be given a patient waiting ride and he got just that on the day from Colin Keane.

Sent off 3-1 favourite next time out at Leopardstown, he ran an absolute shocker on good ground. He never got into it at all. He ran better races at Galway and Leopardstown since but again the ground was on the quick side for him.

This will be the first time since his Curragh victory that he will encounter ground with a bit of juice in it and Willie should have him ready to deliver.
