7/1 Greyhound Acca Winner – Our 14th Accumulator of the year across all our tips!

The blistering start to 2019 continued here at myracing as we landed our fourth accumulator from our Greyhound Tips this year on Tuesday night. That, added to our eight Horse Racing Accumulator Tips landing, we are in a rich vein of form – long may it continue!

How We Did It

LEG #1 – The opening leg of our Acca came in the shape of ROXHOLME JIM (1/2 Next Best) who was a shorter price than we’d hoped due to there being a vacant trap. Nonetheless, he still had four dogs to beat and did so in good style. Tracking Lostrigg Barney who was quickly away in Trap 1, Roxholme Jim timed his run to perfection. Readily going past the leader approaching the final bend, he scored by what was ultimately a comfortable length and a quarter.

LEG #2 – Selection number two certainly didn’t disappoint in terms of performance. GEELO CARLOS (5/4 Single) produced a terrific display to run out an emphatic six and three quarter length victor. There was a bit of crowding on the first bend which may have flattered the winning margin slightly, but Geelo Carlos showed the best trap speed to fly out of the gates. He avoided all the trouble and blasted clear of his rivals!

LEG #3 – The best bet was the final leg of the night to complete the Acca, but it wasn’t all plain sailing. LIGHTFOOT JANNA (13/8 NAP) suffered a little bit of interference at the first bend. But once in the clear thereafter, she showed blistering middle pace to close down early leader Black Aggie. Readily brushing that rival aside, she continued to pour it on to win by three and a half lengths. 7/1 Acca Landed!
