67 per cent strike-rate: Carroll and Watson combine at Brighton with 67-1 treble 🔥

Tony Carroll and Jason Watson have been a lethal combination at Brighton in recent years. Their strike-rate when they combine at the Sussex track is an awesome 67 per cent. The duo combine with four runners on Wednesday and we’ve put the three most likely winners into a 67-1 treble. Check out our free tips page for daily content across British and Irish racing.

1.00 Brighton

Wiley Post (13-8, bet365) is a last time out winner. This victory came over course and distance but he does have a significant 7lb rise to contend with. The veteran gelding love it here and has three wins and three places in eight starts at Brighton. Having placed off this mark over 6f last June, there is evidence that suggests a big run could be on the cards despite the hefty rise.

2.45 Brighton

Gold Standard (6-1, Paddy Power) hasn’t shown his best form on the turf for Tony Carroll. His second at Bath over an extended 1m3f four starts ago offers evidence that he can wain on grass. That was off a mark of 56 and he now finds himself on a 4lb lower mark. He’s the outsider of the four-runner field but certainly isn’t without a chance here.

3.55 Bath

Poetic Force‘s (11-4, Paddy Power) course record of a win and three places in six starts is not to be sniffed at. The son of Lope De Vega has been in sparkling form recently and hasn’t been out of the first two in his last four starts. Returning to a mile seems wise and he may well get back to winning ways off the same mark as his second over 7f here last time.
