3 market movers on Saturday’s ITV Racing including 33-1 into 11-1! 📉

It’s a double header on ITV Racing today with both Newbury and Warwick in action. There have been a number of significant moves since the markets opened after declarations were made on Thursday. We have pinpointed three of these for you below.

1.50 Newbury – Daily Rewards With Betfair Handicap Hurdle

There was some panic in the office yesterday afternoon where Sussex Ranger was concerned. We liked him for this race as part of the each-way double but the price kept contracting. From 14-1 first show, he was into 15-2 when we tipped him, though that was fair enough as given his form, we were surprised he was so big to begin with. Now into 9-2, the money just keeps coming now he’s back over hurdles and at a course he enjoys.

3.15 Warwick – Virgin Bet Warwick Castle Handicap Chase

We love a bold, front-runner here and in Lieutenant Rocco, you get not only a super looking, giant of a chaser but also that heart on his sleeve, leader of the pack. Warwick should suit his slick jumping style, a real rhythm track where getting on the front end and galloping rivals into submission is possible. From an opening show of 33-1 on Thursday when declarations were made, he is now a best price of 11-1!

3.35 Newbury – Betfair Hurdle

What would normally be the big punting race of the weekend has attracted a smaller than usual field. The best backed here has been Royaume Uni from an opening 25-1 into his current price of 14-1. He has been behind a couple who re-oppose recently but the pull at the weights and the better ground than last time clearly has punters believing that the five-year-old is capable of producing something extra.
