All-Weather Championships Tips Finals Day
An Apprentice Handicap kicks off the card, which is a great opportunity for the up and coming jockeys to notch up a win on a big day.
We then have the first of six conditions races which are the division finals from the all-weather season. The stayers are in action first in the ‘Marathon’ over two miles before the girls take centre stage in the Fillies’ And Mares’ contest over seven furlongs.
Sprinters take the reigns in the middle race on the card and if your horse is drawn low and are out fast, you can be hard to catch around this tight track.
The three year olds are up next over six furlongs before the most valuable contest on the card, the Easter Classic over the middle distance of a mile and a quarter. Quality really comes to the fore here as all five favourites have won since the event began.
The starting prices of winners are a stark contrast in the mile race as there hasn’t been one winning favourite in five years and we saw a huge 40/1 upset last season!
