4 Stats Outsiders for Sunday + 159,119/1 Monster Acca

Mister Whitaker

Just three meetings on Sunday, a quieter end to the weekend that most have been of late. Carlisle, Lingfield and Southwell are the cards in action, with no Irish action to enjoy. We will have free horse racing tips for all three cards and all the free bets from the bookies for this weekend can be found on the site.

The four outsiders for Sunday make up a 159,119/1 acca if they all win but at these prices, naturally each way is the play. Let’s break down the stats, read on for the four picks.

12.35 Carlisle – Watch Racing TV Now Novices’ Handicap Chase

Maurice Barnes has had 5 winners from his last 17 runners in handicap chases at Carlisle. Rollerruler is his representative here to try and add to that level stakes profit of +£34.50. He is yet to get his head in front in 11 career runs but the pick of those came on heavy ground over course and distance.

He was flattered to only be beaten six lengths by First Flow on that occasion in receipt of eighteen pounds. Despite that, given that First Flow won at Ascot last month off a mark of 148, Rollerruler’s handicap mark of 94 has to be considered more than fair if he repeats that.

1.45 Ling – Betway Handicap

Luke Morris has ridden 4 winners on his last 12 rides at this track for Tony Carroll for a level stakes profit of +£15.07. Boom The Groom represents the pair here from the innermost draw. He has been disappointing in 2020, dropping down to the lowest mark of his career now.

It may simply be that he is regressing due to his age but some of his best form has come at this track and he has won for Morris in the past which makes that booking all the more interesting.

2.10 Carl – Pertemps Network Handicap Hurdle

A bit of a shame from an each way point of view that there are only seven runners and therefore just two places. The Nicky Richards yard always need to be respected at their local track where they have had 6 winners in their last 24 runners in handicap hurdles for a level stakes profit of +£20.38.

Richards runs Chapel Stile here who sports first-time cheekpieces which is further interest given the yard. Of the last 5 horses that Richards has fitted with cheekpieces for the first time, 3 have won! That’s only a small sample size but it does show that the yard know when to fit the headgear.

3.20 Ling – Play 4 To Score At Betway Handicap (Div II)

The biggest priced of the quartet closes out the stats outsiders in the shape of Lep. Rhys Clutterbuck takes the mount for Michael Attwater, the pair have a 25% strike rate here in 2020 for a level stakes profit of +£14.00.

He has not shown an awful lot for Attwater of late but he ran in 0-70 company last time, dropping into 0-55 here. He notched up RPR’s of 66 and 64 on Polytrack in February and March so is more than capable from 54, especially with Clutterbuck taking off seven pounds.
