IN SUMMARY: It’s very hard to see past Charlie Mann’s MAID OF MILAN, who won her chasing debut last month and wasn’t beaten far when third at Uttoxeter earlier this month. She is on the same mark and she retains the services of James Bowen, who claims five pounds. She shouldn’t be for catching and the only real danger looks to be Kayfleur, who is on a great mark if at her best but she’s entitled to need this race.
MAID OF MILAN – Lightly raced sort who won her chasing debut at Newton Abbot in October before a close third at Uttoxeter on her latest start earlier this month. She’s on the same mark here and shouldn’t be for catching with James Bowen claiming five pounds.
KAYFLEUR – Hasn’t been since April, where she was in good form for Henry Daly. She was a shade disappointing at Haydock on her latest start but she looked a non-stayer and this is more her trip. Her current mark is very lenient on the best of her form, but she’s entitled to need this.
ARMEDANDBEAUTIFUL – Has only been seen three times since November 2014, only beaten a neck at Uttoxeter on her latest start over hurdles. That was good run but her three runs over fences have been far from convincing and she is vulnerable in a good race for the grade.
FRANK N FAIR – Yet to win in this sphere after six starts and she was flattered to finish with four lengths of the winner at Plumpton on her latest start, with the winner eased down. She is effectively six pounds higher here and is completely vulnerable.
