IN SUMMARY: It’s very hard to look past the filly SNOWY WINTER, who is lightly raced and holds an excellent record on the all weather for Archie Watson. She won with plenty in hand at Newcastle on her latest start and a seven pound rise won’t stop her here with Simon Walker taking over, which enhances her claims to no end. The Irish raider French Mix is also lightly raced and feared most ahead of So Celebre, who arrives here in good heart.

ZAMBEASY – Now a pound below his last winning mark but it has to be concerning how tamely he weakened out of things at Windsor when last seen in October. Hard to rule him out but it’s easy to look elsewhere as his attitude isn’t the best.

TAKE TWO – In very good form of late for Alex Hales and was perhaps unlucky not to win at Newbury on his latest start, detached for a long way in the rear. He’s only a pound higher here and should make his presence felt.

SNOWY WINTER – Two wins from four starts on the all weather for Archie Watson and she appreciated a return to this trip when winning easily at Newcastle on her latest start. She still remains with potential and with Simon Walker booked, she’s not for beating here.

METHAG – No wins from eight starts in Britain for this four year old filly who was very poor at Salisbury when last seen in June. Her record fresh isn’t anything to shout about and she’s readily dismissed.

SO CELEBRE – Ran well in defeat twice last month for Ian Williams, only going down by half a length on his latest start at Lingfield. He’s two pounds higher here and has an experienced claimer on board, so has to be respected.

BIOTIC – Wasn’t disgraced on his latest start at this venue over the mile, clearly needing further and his current mark is certainly not over-bearing. That said, his overall strike-rate makes for poor reading and the percentage call is to avoid.

FRENCH MIX – Finally came good when storming home to win at Dundalk in October, though off today’s mark he was only sixth at the same venue ten days later. He remains with potential and is an interesting runner for Joseph O’Brien who shouldn’t be far away.
