Who Won For Us?

LEG #1 – CAIRNSHILL (5/4) > The bet kicked off over the jumps at Carlisle. Cairnshill was held up in the early stages before smoothly making headway to track the leaders at two out. Sean Quinlan then made his move and kicked for home and the horse obliged! From there he went clear easily and was eased at the finish. A six-length winner to bring home leg one!

LEG #2 – MALANGEN (2/1) > The second leg came from Newton Abbot and Malangen certainly made Tom Scudamore work for the victory. He didn’t look the easiest of rides but Scudamore got plenty out of him and produced him at the right time. In the closing stages he stayed on really well to run out a 3.5 lengths winner and that brought up a hat-trick of wins for the horse & meant we were 2/2 on the Acca!

LEG #3 – THE JEAN GENIE (6/4 NAP) > It was down to our best bet of the day over at Brighton to clinch the acca win. The Jean Genie was pretty cold in the market a few hours before the race but she came in for plenty of support close to the off. She was always travelling well and it was around the 2f marker where Richard Kingscote pushed the button and let her go. It turned out she had flattered to deceive a tad as she didn’t quite find as much as expected off the bridle, but what she did find, turned out to be enough for the success in the end. Grapevine closed well near the end for second but the NAP held on well and landed the 15/1 Acca win!
