Jess Harrington has enjoyed a very good festival so far and she will be hoping her daughter can ride Bright Tomorrow (9/1) to his maiden victory. His best chance of winning was when going off as the short-priced favourite at Naas back in November, but he was very keen early on and couldn’t find anything extra over the final furlong, finishing three lengths behind shock winner Ballela Boy. He was thrown into a much tougher race last time out here at Punchestown, and finished a creditable fourth behind Champion Flat participants Battleford and Presenting Percy. He’s one of the few runners in this field to have previously ran on good ground, so that, combined with a five pound jockey allowance, may give him the edge at an Each Way price.

Some Neck (4/1) is likely to go off as the favourite for the fourth race in a row and the team of Willie and his son Patrick Mullins will be hoping to finally get that maiden victory. He has finished second in all three of his previous runs, with the margin of victory getting shorter with each race, losing out to Kildare fancy Sunni May by just over a length at Leopardstown, before getting pipped to the post by Miracle in Medinah at Fairyhouse last month. Worryingly, he has has lead in the closing stages of all three of his runs, but hasn’t converted then into wins. Mullins will be itching to see him break his winning duck.

Jamie Codd rode Champers On Ice to victory in last year’s renewal and he will be onboard Philip Hobbs’ No Comment (4/1), as he looks to win this race for the second successive year. The J. P. McManus owned five year old has only ran twice so far in his career, finishing second on both occasions. He traveled well on his debut, coming in three lengths behind the short-priced favourite Rather Be, before just falling short on his next run at Wetherby, finishing half a length behind the long time leader. He’s an unknown quantity on this ground, so it will be interesting to see how he goes.

Nina Carberry was riding Red Giant (8/1) when he finished well at last year’s festival, coming in fourth behind Petit Mouchoir in the Goffs Flat Bumper. He hasn’t been seen since, but Noel Meade clearly thinks he has plenty of potential, having paid 32,000 Euros for him at the 2014 sales. If the five year old is in good shape, he’s capable of going out and causing an upset.
