IN SUMMARY: DINARIA DES OBEAUX has been sent chasing quickly by Gordon Elliott and that move can continue to pay off here. She beat a useful rival on chase debut and should be hard to stop receiving weight from the whole field here. Slowmotion is the form horse and should run her race again.

1 SLOWMOTION – Won a Grade 3 at Fairyhouse back in April following some excellent runs in big field handicaps. She hasn’t been great the last twice but is a talented and hardy mare who sets the standard and is feared even giving away weight to the whole field.

2 THANKS FOR TEA – Has only won once in twelve attempts over the larger obstacles. Won’t mind conditions underfoot but is rated 123 which leaves her some way short of what will probably be required to win this unless the market principals disappoint.

3 MISS EYECATCHER – Was a moderate second when chasing a hat-trick last time but that was behind the extremely talented Shattered Love and was a decent run. A rating of 130 sees her towards the top end in this field in terms of talent and she has an each-way chance.

4 GIRLY GIRL – Has yet to win for Jessie Harrington and that losing streak will most likely continue today. She was over eight lengths behind Slowmotion two starts ago and it would be a big shock if she were to turn around that form today.

5 GOULANE DAVINA – A rating of 121 is well below what you’d hope would be good enough to win a race of this nature so she’ll need to take a big step forward today. Her third last time was only a moderate one and it would be a disappointment were she good enough to win.

6 KILBARRY MARIEN – One of a few in this field who has an absolute mountain to climb on ratings if she is to be getting remotely involved. Won two starts ago but couldn’t follow up last time and needs a fair chunk more in this company.

7 LILYWHITE GESTURE – Gordon Elliott has been in excellent form all season but a rating of 114 leaves her a long way short of what is required. Never had a chance behind Rathvinden last time but this doesn’t look all that much easier and should struggle again.

8 MAGIC OF LIGHT – Was unlucky to be beaten at Thurles two starts ago but made amends when bolting up by six lengths when odds-on last time out. Seems to be progressing nicely over fences and should take another step forward here; considered.

9 NICAT’S BENEFIT – Has been beaten a long way in her last three starts and those have been in weaker races than this. This looks a pretty competitive renewal and it would be difficult to see her making an impact in this company.

10 DINARIA DES OBEAUX – Won in game fashion against a useful rival last time and possesses some of the best form in the field. Was prominent in the betting for the Triumph Hurdle last season after hacking up on hurdles debut and receiving weight all round here she may be tough to beat.
