A very strong renewal of this Grade 1 with last month’s Triumph Hurdle 1-2 set to do battle once more. The Gordon Elliott trained Farclas got the better of Mr Adjudicator there and should confirm that form. He had a hard race though and SAGLAWY looks the one to pick up the pieces here if those Cheltenham exertions take their toll. He is an improving hurdler and seems to have the beating of plenty of these on the form of his win at Fairyhouse earlier this month. Of the remainder, Stormy Ireland looked beaten when falling at the last in the Triumph Hurdle but raced keen enough there and would be a threat if settling better today.
