6.49pm Crayford Race Preview 23/01/2018

Greyhound Syndicate

A Tuesday evening assignment for Droopys Nuka as she continues her way back to full race fitness after a niggle. She has her fourth start of 2018, with orange on her back once more tonight. Our greyhound tips will be on the site before 6pm, looking to continue the hot form of last week where we had 5 X NAP winners, 5 X NB winners as well as 52/1 & 20/1 winning accas!

6.49pm Crayford 23/01/2018 A6 Grade

Vincys Girl – Picked up a minor race in Ireland last September, showing little in limited action so far at Crayford. Has not taken the sprinting early pace of her dam, so may be more effective over 6 bends in time given her slow starts here.

Key Shot – Has the odd quick break in her locker, but hasn’t shown much of late. Stays the 6 bend trip well so is the type that you don’t want to turn clean behind you if you’re not a strong stayer, something that may happen here with a slow riser inside.

Dynamic Product – Made a solid start to life in this country, a debut winner, he just found one too strong last week. His consistent early pace should see him lead up the inside, whether he holds on depends on how close the strong running 2 turns behind him.

Great Appeal – Another with limited action at the track, just two runs when missing the kick both times. She has not shown enough yet to consider her in this line-up so is best left for when she has more experience.

Droopys Nuka – The orange jacket again for Nuka, the fifth start on the bounce from an unfavourable draw. She does at least have slow starters on each side of her, but she is not renowned for pinging from this location herself.

Corgrigg Banker – Pinged out to win an A5 in November, but in general he is a 3.70 sectional hound. There isn’t much early across the line-up so it’s a race that won’t take much winning. He needs to be given consideration from what may prove a decent draw.

Conclusion

A perfectly winnable A6 if Nuka were to hit the lids, though previous experience suggests she won’t from 5. She does have a pair of regularly slow starters either side of her so she may not need a smash to lead up the outside. If 6 were to come away he would have a sound chance, while 3 looks the most likely early leader which helps him. The 2 will be a big threat to all if turning unscathed.
