Pickamix has been hugely reliable for his connections and his latest third at Cheltenham represents some good form, so he’s respected as a key player. Preference though is for CADEAU GEORGE, who needed his seasonal debut when tailed off at Carlisle last month. He will strip much fitter for that run and is now down to his last winning mark, so he can regain that winning feeling here today.

Belmount (IRE) | J: Mr Z. Baker T: Nigel Twiston-Davies
Won three starts ago at Warwick but he was well held off today's mark at Ludlow subsequently and fell at Haydock when last seen. More is required but he's a strong each way contender with a frantic pace likely.

Pickamix | J: Mr S. Waley-Cohen T: Charlie Mann
Consistent sort for Charlie Mann who has placed on all three of his chasing starts, beaten less than a length at Cheltenham last month. This is a much easier race and he's only a pound higher here, so he's a key player under the veteran Sam Waley-Cohen.

Orbasa (FR) | J: Mr L. Williams T: Paul Nicholls
Had become a very frustrating horse to follow but did get back to winning ways two starts ago at Wincanton, raised eight pounds as a result. Off today's mark, he was well beaten at Ludlow last time and he makes limited appeal.

Chef D'equipe (FR) | J: Mr D. Maxwell T: Philip Hobbs
Useful chaser in France but his two runs in Britain have been underwhelming, weakening tamely at Plumpton when last seen. He now switches back to fences but it's hard to make a case for him with stamina a question mark.

Mustmeetalady (IRE) | J: Mr James King T: Jonjo O'Neill
Has found winning difficult over fences for Jonjo O'Neill, well beaten he last twice and his latest run at Uttoxeter was particularly tame. He's still lightly raced but it's had to be confident on his chances and others are preferred.

Pete The Feat (IRE) | J: T: Charlie Longsdon
Course and distance winner who was going well until a very bad mistake at the 14th. He's dropped two pounds in the weights which puts him back down to a workable mark and he's sure to play a leading role from the front.

Shanroe Santos (IRE) | J: Mr M. Legg T: Lucy Wadham
Had a very successful campaign last time around and his last two efforts were more than fair. He wasn't beaten far when third at Uttoxeter last month, with the handicapper leaving his mark unchanged. A similar display gives him each way claims, but he's vulnerable for win purposes off this mark.

Theatrical Star | J: Mr J. L. Thomas T: Colin Tizzard
Eleven year old who has run well in recent starts without threatening for victory, plugging on at Taunton into third. He's He's a pound lower here and although he's well treated on the best of his form, he's well into the veteran stage now. Should find a few of these too strong.

Jennys Surprise (IRE) | J: Miss L. M. Pinchin T: Fergal O'Brien
Won at Uttoxeter two starts ago after a year off but her stamina failed her at Wincanton yesterday, fading late on into fourth. After such a quick turnaround it's hard to be confident on her chances and others are preferred.

Cadeau George | J: Mr Alex Ferguson T: Ben Pauling
Won over hurdles at Huntingdon last Christmas but he badly lost his way since, well beaten on all four starts. He was tailed off on his return last month over fences but he likely needed it and has slipped to his last winning mark. That should be the difference maker today and he can return to winning ways.

Coolking | J: Mr S. Roche T: Gary Moore
Completed a hat-trick last season for Gary Moore but he has pulled up on both his runs since, running no sort of race on his return at Fontwell last month. He won't get a soft lead here thanks for Pete The Feat and he looks vunlerabe off this mark.

Lunar Flow | J: T: Jamie Snowden
Returned this season with a smooth success at Uttoxeter, with that form working out very well as the second has won three time since. He carried 11st 12lb gamely on his latest start when a close third and he's a clear contender off two pounds higher here.

Hedgeinator (IRE) | J: Mr Tommie M. O'Brien T: Christian Williams
Only four runs in Britain for connections, formerly racing in Ireland where he was a modest chaser at best. That has continued since joining his current yard, well beaten at Ffos Las on his latest start, He makes limited appeal once again despite another two pound drop in the weights.
