Elusive Theatre bolted up on chase debut at Cartmel in May but wasn’t as good back over fences afterwards and faces a tough task giving weight to RONS DREAM who is the selection, she looks to have bumped into two very classy rivals in her two starts over fences to date and this looks a very winnable race for her based on her hurdles form.

Elusive Theatre | J: J. J. Slevin T: Stuart Crawford, Ireland

Winner of a point to point back in May 2015, faultless on chasing debut at Cartmel last year pulling clear to win by nearly 60 lengths. She showed a return to form when 5th in a Cheltenham handicap in December, followed that up with a win over hurdles at Ayr. Chance if returning in the same form back over fences.

Poetic Presence | J: Sam Coltherd T: Stuart Coltherd

Just the one win in 29 races over rules and in point to points, that win came in a point to point at Hexham in May last year. Best runs this season have both come at Hexham over hurdles, made her Chase debut last month but was beaten over 40 lengths. Huge improvement needed and more chance when tackling handicaps.

Rons Dream | J: Sean Bowen T: Peter Bowen

Dual Listed winner over hurdles she was looking exposed but has bounced back this season in her two runs over fences. Bumped into a useful rival at Chepstow and found the trip on the short side at Bangor earlier this month, well in at the weights here and huge chance if this race hasn't come too soon.

Expresstime | J: Callum Bewley T: Chris Grant

Second in two Irish point to points earlier this season and subsequently sold for £24,000 at the sales last month. Makes her debut under rules today against some much more experienced mares and tough to see her featuring even from bottom weight.
