Tips for Redcar Races
Located by the coast in North East England, Redcar hosts a number of excellent races throughout the season on the Flat.
Course: A left handed oval totalling one mile, six furlongs, a two furlong chute allows for races up to one mile to be run on a straight course. Flat and level, our tips tend to find that the best horse often wins here with few hard luck stories.
Draw Bias: There is no clear evidence of draw bias to consider at Redcar, with most horses tacking into the middle of the course.
Feature Race: The Zetland Gold Cup and Guisborough Stakes are both excellent races, but the highlight of the season is the Two Year Old Trophy. A listed race run in October over six furlongs, there have been plenty of high class winners including Limato in 2014 who went on to win the July Cup at Newmarket in 2016.
We will have Redcar tips for every meeting, published the night before on our tips page and racecards page.
