Clairefontaine Tips:

Clairefontaine is another dual-purpose course, offering Flat and National Hunt cards throughout the year. They have a total of three tracks: the trot racing track dedicated solely to the 3 trot meetings, the flat racing track and the jump racing track for hurdle races and steeplechases. Roughly 25 meetings a season are on offer under rules.

Clairefontaine Best Trainers & Jockeys:

Concentrating on the flat racing leaderboards, Andre Fabre comes out on top with a very impressive 7 winners and 5 places from just 20 runners. His horses are clearly well suited to the track and with a strike-rate of greater than 30% in two of the last three seasons around here, a bet on any of the Fabre runners is worth considering.

Andrea Marcialis also had a seriously good strike-rate of 33% in 2019, 5 winners landing from 15 runners, and they’re another yard to watch. Last, but not least, Henri Alex Pantall had 50% of his runners in the top three, with 4 winners and 5 places from 18. A very solid performance.

There are some top class riders on the jockey’s leaderboard, Mickael Barzalona, Alex Badel, Maxime Guyon and Pierre-Charles Boudot filling out the top four in that order. Barzalona had 8 winners and 18 places from 47 rides, whilst Alex Badel had the same amount of winners with 9 places from 32 rides. Guyon and Boudot both had 7 winners. Ronan Thomas is another worth mentioning. He only got 17 rides but 5 of them won and a further 4 places. Impressive numbers.
