Chantilly is an internationally known and renowned racecourse, racing since 1834 and featuring one of only a few All Weather tracks in France.

Chantilly Tips

The course hosts a number of significant meetings in the French calendar, including the third of the five French Classic races the Prix du Jockey Club.

Our tipsters will provide tips for Chantilly for all major meetings, and the myracing website will also carry racecards and comments from Racing Post for each of these races which can be found in our international horse racing section.

All Chantilly racing is flat racing, although jumps horses are trained at the nearby training centre. Entry in the week is a mere €5, and tickets rarely exceed €20 even for the biggest days of racing, making it an extremely enjoyable and affordable day out.

What tracks does Chantilly racecourse have?

Chantilly racecourse features an amazing five tracks:

  • The “Jockey Club” track; a 2,400 metre (one and a half mile) oval
  • A straight track of 1,200 metres (6 furlongs) for sprint races
  • A middle track for middle distance races
  • A round track for middle distance races
  • Since 2011, an All Weather track
