Willie Mullins sends four outstanding chances to Naas for a 12-1 acca

Fitzhenry wins at Naas under Barry Geraghty

Some good quality racing at Naas on Sunday, taking the majority of the focus from Fontwell and Hereford. Willie Mullins has his string in flying form at present, sending four with huge chances to Naas which form a 12-1 accumulator. We will have free horse racing tips from all three cards on the site but for now, let’s concentrate on the Irish maestro.

2.00 Naas – Whatoddspaddy? Chase

Fourth in the Champion Hurdle at the 2020 Cheltenham Festival, Cilaos Emery has been seen just the once since. He saw his stamina ebb away late on over two and a half miles on that occasion so the return to the minimum trip is a plus.

2/2 at this Grade 3 level, one of those over fences at this track when winning comfortably. He is the clear form pick in this small field with his main danger progressing of late in handicap company, taking on nothing of the class of the favourite.

3.00 Naas – Paddy Power Betting Shop Novice Hurdle

A wide-margin winner here of a maiden hurdle, Echos In Rain had rather too much use made of her at this Grade 2 level last time out at Fairyhouse. This is nothing like as deep a contest as that one and back on a track where she has already got her head in front, it’s no surprise that she heads the market.

Fitness from a break is rarely a concern from the Willie Mullins yard. Egality Mans has not been seen in action for 430-days since a two-length second to Assemble on Boxing Day 2019. An RPR of 134 for that run is head and shoulders above anything his opponents have recorded. Assemble was runner-up to Envoi Allen in the Drinmore earlier this season to show just what that level of form is potentially worth.

Rated 106 on the flat and placed in a Group 3, Micro Manage did not manage to live up to that level on his hurdling debut. He was far too keen so it is no surprise that he is fitted with a hood on his second start. He jumped well there and if he can settle better, should be able to show his true form.
