Wednesday Outsiders include a 50-1 tip: ‘He has been dropped 8lb by the handicapper’ 🐎

The Cheltenham Festival might only be two weeks away but we still have plenty of racing to focus on between now and then. With four meeting on in Britain on Wednesday, Adrian Wall has picked out three horses at big prices who should outrun their large odds. 12.30 Lingfield

Jockey Ross Coakley has been riding out of his skin this season and I think his mount Lake Sand can bounce back to form. His sole win came over a mile at Chelmsford and he was staying on dourly over that same course and distance when last seen. Beaten just two lengths, it is clear that he is crying out for further so the step back up to 1m2f should suit massively.

2.20 Musselburgh

Laura Morgan sends three horses to Scotland and all three have massive chance. However, Clear The Runway has to carry 12st 5lb if he is to win and that is a tall order. I am going to take a chance on Celtic Dancer, who will be in receipt of 13lb from that said rival. Formerly trained by Eric McNamara in Ireland, he ran a nice race on stable debut when second of four runners here. He failed to back that up but he looks very well treated on the pick of his hurdling form if he can translate it to fences.

3.40 Wincanton

Mr Palm failed to beat a rival in his last two starts over fences but he didn’t run bad at all at Newbury in a very hot novice hurdle when beaten about 17 lengths by good horses. This is much easier and he has been dropped 8lb by the handicapper from his last start so there is a chance that he could bounce back.
