Having developed an interest in racing whilst in college some years ago, James has worked in many areas of the industry, including a stint hiding his face on radio! From 2008 until 2017, he ran a successful tipping service and has had shares in numerous horses including the wonderful Fast Shot. Unsurprisingly given some of the horses he has bought shares in, his punting passions lie in sprint handicaps on both the turf and All-Weather surfaces!

James Boyle landed a 33/1 winner last Saturday. View today’s Value Bets below.

5:10 Wolverhampton – Look Surprised – 1pt @ 6/1

LOOK SURPRISED doesn’t have typical last time out sprinting form, as she was pulled up inside the final furlong! However, assuming all is well with the filly, if you overlook that effort then she must be a big player returned to a 0-70. Roger Teal’s charge seemed to have turned a corner in August, bolting up in a Windsor handicap before finishing second over the same C&D a couple of weeks later. Everything obviously went wrong in her sole subsequent run but the way she had been moving in her races was impressive and with the yard in good order, it wouldn’t be a shock if she made a winning return to action from a good draw.

7:40 Wolverhampton – Onebaba – 1pt @ 10/1

There was a lot to like about the way ONEBABA travelled in blinkers for the first time at Chelmsford and whilst that was only in claiming company, there were plenty of good horses in opposition. The headgear has been retained, Hollie Doyle takes over in the saddle for a yard in fine order this month and his career-best RPR, when trained by Michael Bell, came over this C&D. I think he’ll be winning before too long and from statistically the best stall to emerge out of, hopefully that will happen today!
