Gary Moore has had plenty of success at Chelmsford so far this season. The Essex track has been a happy hunting ground for him and he’s had eight winners from just 12 runners there. Moore is set to have another three runners at their meeting on Thursday. Their chances vary but the statistics suggest he should have at least one winner. Trussst In me has plenty to find on the evidence of her debut effort at Goodwood. She looked very green and finished last of the seven runners. It seems likely that she would have learnt plenty from the experience however and should improve for the run. This does look like quite a hot novice event as the £40,000 prize pot is substantial but you wouldn’t want to rule out a big run.
Capricorn Prince was too bad to be true at Salisbury last time out and something was clearly amiss. His last win came off just a 2lb lower mark at Lingfield in February, over a trip of 1m5f. Moore’s charge should be capable of getting his head in front over just a furlong further and a return to form could well be on the cards.
Anificas Beauty has been running well here, winning twice before finishing as runner-up last time out. This filly is continuing to rise up the handicap and is currently rated 13lb higher than when winning on seasonal debut back in April. Clearly progressive, she looks like one to keep on side until her limitations are exposed. A return to winning ways is a distinct possibility here.
