Trainer with 100 per cent record at Ffos Las this season sends one on Monday 💯

Christian Williams has had just one runner at Ffos Las so far this season and the horse was victorious. With that being his only winner of the season so far, he’ll be hoping to double his tally here. The Welshman is looking to defend his unbeaten record with one runner at the track on Monday. His charge hasn’t been seen over hurdles for well over a year but he has some solid form in the book. 2.10 Ffos Las

Celestial Force ran in a seller on the Flat when last seen nine days ago. He was well-beaten in fourth, finishing 18 lengths adrift but he was entitled to need the run badly and that run would have served its purpose of sharpening him up for this. The eight-year-old hadn’t been seen for 534 days prior to that run and he should improve significantly for it.

His last win over hurdles came in a Taunton seller when trained by Paul Nicholls back in November 2021. Finishing second at Lingfield on debut for this yard on his penultimate start, he would perhaps have been expected to win that claimer. It’s hard to know what to expect from this horse but his trainer won’t want to lose his unblemished record at the track.

The return to handicap company should suit, especially as the handicapper has dropped him to a mark of 111. He comfortably won a Class 3 race at Newton Abbot for Paul Nicholls, off a mark of 120 back in June 2021 and should therefore be competitive off this lower mark, in a significantly lower grade.
