Three horses sent on 700-mile round trips form 35-1 treble at Hamilton 👀

Hamilton Racecourse

We successfully tipped you a huge 122-1 treble in our distance travellers article on Tuesday and we’ll be looking for more of the same on Thursday. William Haggas and Alice Haynes send runners on the 710-mile round trip to Hamilton on Thursday and Archie Watson sends one on the 733-mile trip from Lambourn. With this in mind, we’ve combined three of their runners into a juicy 35-1 treble. Check out our free tips page for daily content across British and Irish racing.

6.00 Hamilton

Sir Joseph Swan (9-2, bet365) has a significant absence to overcome, having been off the track for 266 days. He won twice over 1m6f last season and the stiff 1m5f here should be right up his street. This is his debut for the Archie Watson yard and this looks like a very winnable race. The yard is on a high after having three winners at Royal Ascot last week.

7.30 Hamilton

Godwinson (4-6, bet365) kept on well over an extended mile at Nottingham on debut to finish third. On the evidence of that run, the step up to 1m1f at this stiff track is a big positive. It’s reasonable to expect plenty of improvement from that run as he should progress both physically and mentally. This looks like a shrewd piece of placement and a win could be on the cards.

8.30 Hamilton

Ajyad (3-1, bet365) got off the mark in a maiden at Bath last time out. Alice Haynes’ filly has shown clear progression between her three starts so far and is clearly on the up. She makes her handicap debut here and 74 looks like a reasonable opening mark. Further progress seems likely and she appears to have every chance here.
