Course form can be absolutely crucial when looking for a winner. If you know your way around a place, you are going to have an advantage over somebody who has never been there before. We landed a tasty 67/1 treble at Ascot several weeks ago and this week’s treble returns great odds at the time of posting. Best of luck if you have a play.
Dan Horsford is a new trainer on the block but he’s already proven himself to be capable and Crimson Sand could gain another course victory in the opening handicap over 6f. This boy has an exceptional course record which reads as 1242222231137, and he’s had a wind op since last seen finishing third at Lingfield. He has to be respected and could be the class act in the race, while a good claimer is aboard too to lighten the burden.
James Owen is one of the best dual-purpose trainers around at the moment and Carlton is another who enjoys Chelmsford. The son of Frankel is a perfect five from five at the track which is incredible, and is only 1lb higher than winning here last time. He has to go well again.
Agostino came back from a break to win a C&D handicap impressively on latest and given he was sent off favourite on the day, it was expected. There should be more improvement to come with the cobwebs blown off.
