‘There’s still room in his mark’ – 162/1 ITV Saturday horses for courses acca

Course form can be absolutely crucial when looking for a winner. If you know your way around a place, you are going to have an advantage over somebody who has never been there before. The same applies to horses – knowing your way around a venue is always a big advantage. Adrian Wall has picked out three former course winners running on ITV on Saturday.

We landed a tasty 67/1 treble at Ascot several weeks ago and this week’s treble returns great odds at the time of posting. Best of luck if you have a play.

1.15 Haydock

Tim Easterly is in cracking form and Candonomore won a maiden over this C&D on his reappearance last season before having some struggles. The gelding op has worked the oracle though and he returned to win two 1m handicaps at Wetherby and Leicester on fast ground. There’s still room in his mark yet.

King Casper won a novice at this track last August and he really impressed when landing 1m Newmarket contest on handicap debut on reappearance. Up 9lb for that now but he does look a progressive type to say the least.

2.10 Beverley

Ali Shuffle is unbeaten in three outings, including over this C&D. Karl Burke’s filly had to work hard to win at Chester when last seen and did have the dream draw by the rail to attack from on the day, but she did it in a good manner and always looked like the winner. She’s very progressive and could be tough to crack again, for all this will probably be a trickier assignment for sure.
