‘The return to 5f will be a big help’ – 50/1, 20/1 and 16/1 ITV Outsiders on Friday

Quadrilateral wins the Fillies Mile

Friday is set to be a busy day on the racing front and the ITV team will be covering 10 races from Newmarket, York and Chepstow. The big race of the day is the Group 1 Fillies’ Mile at Newmarket but we also have some exciting National Hunt action from Chepstow. ITV racing means outsiders so we’re back with three more potentially overpriced runners on Friday. Take a look at our free tips page for daily content across British and Irish racing.

1.15 Newmarket

India Love (50/1, bet365) has won three of her four starts so far and got her career off to the perfect start at York. She won a Class 2 event that day and has since followed up under a penalty and won a handicap. The ground went against her at Ayr last time out and returning to 5f will also be a big help. George Boughey’s filly is much better than that and this is a good opportunity to prove it.

2.57 Newmarket

Moments Of Joy (16/1, bet365) showed an excellent attitude and battled to victory over an extended 7f at Leopardstown on debut. Aidan O’Brien’s two-year-old then ran a cracker to finish third in the Chesham Stakes and that form looks rock-solid. Second when upped to a mile in a Group 3 at the Curragh, the best is yet to come and it would be dangerous to underestimate her.

3.30 Newmarket

Minhad (20/1, bet365) won a warm novice event over course and distance in May and has been highly tried since. He struggled a bit in the King Edward VII Stakes and has run over potentially unsuitable trips in two starts since. Coming back to 1m4f here, Mason Paetel takes 5lb off and we should see a much better performance.
