The Racing League returns! Three outsiders at Yarmouth including two 20/1 tips

The Racing League is a fun addition to the Flat calendar and it provides some exciting and competitive mid-week entertainment. Yarmouth hosts the first fixture of the season on Thursday and all seven races will be live on ITV4. There are plenty of runners and that means lot of each-way opportunities! With that in mind, we’ve selected three outsiders to follow on Thursday that can outrun their substantial prices. Check out our free tips page for daily content across British and Irish racing.

5.30 Yarmouth

Bizarre Law (20/1, bet365) has been out of the winners’ enclosure for a fair while and a return is long overdue. His last success came at Goodwood in June 2022 and is currently on a 3lb lower mark, which has to bring him into the equation. There were some more positive signs on display at Chelmsford when last seen and he can go even closer having been dropped another pound.

6.30 Yarmouth

Bluelight Bay (20/1, bet365) has had a pretty underwhelming campaign thus far but he’s been tumbling down the weights as a consequence. Eve Johnson Houghton’s gelding won a Salisbury handicap off 88 last summer and he should be very dangerous now on a 7lb lower mark. Whilst he’s running out of chances, he deserves one more at this sort of price.

8.00 Yarmouth

Percy Shelley (16/1, Paddy Power) is yet to win in Britain but managed to score three times in his native France at up to 1m3f. David O’Meara’s five-year-old continues to slide down the weights and Adam Caffrey takes 3lb off here. The yard had an across the card treble on Saturday so their recent form definitely bodes well for his chances.
