Course form can be absolutely crucial when looking for a winner. If you know your way around a place, you are going to have an advantage over somebody who has never been there before. We landed a tasty 67/1 treble at Ascot several weeks ago and this week’s treble returns great odds at the time of posting. Best of luck if you have a play.
Bodhisattva is an Irish challenger who is now 1lb lower than his second in the Edinburgh National at Musselburgh in February, a repeat of which would see him hard to beat here. He posted a solid effort in the Ulster National last time and must enter the reckoning for a stable in good form of late.
Almaqam is a smart son of Lope De Vega who won a 1m Listed contest here last May and rounded off his campaign with a close head second in the Prix Dollar at Longchamp over close to 1m2f in October. He’s very lightly raced and is in top hands so has to be in the mix on his return to action here.
Tamfana is a very smart filly who won the Atalanta Stakes over course and distance and the Sun Chariot Stakes at Newmarket last year when seeing off the top-class Inspiral in the process. Disappointed behind Charyn in the Queen Elizabeth II Stakes at Ascot when last seen but the one to beat if at her best.
