‘That should be marked up massively’ – Adrian Wall’s 40/1, 20/1 & 14/1 Saturday outsiders
It’s another day of great action on ITV and Adrian Wall is back with his weekly feast of outsiders. He has picked out three horses who should outrun their large odds on Saturday. Adrian is in cracking form and had provided followers with a cracking 18/1 winner two weeks ago thanks to Lead Artist, who went off much shorter.
1.48 Haydock
Michael Dods struggled largely this month to date but hopefully Bosh (40/1) can turn the stable’s fortunes around with Paul Mulrennan in the plate. Formerly with Richard Hannon, he won two all-weather handicaps last year over 6f in the first half of the year. He has struggled in three starts for this stable but there’s no doubting the fact he is becoming well treated now.
2.10 Chester
I’m surprised to see Brewing (20/1) trading at the price he is given he’s been granted a lovely draw in stall three. The six-year-old has won six of his 16 races and although he is more of an all-weather specialist and has disappointed in two turf outings, it’s too early to suggest he doesn’t handle grass. He didn’t see out the mile on his first try at the trip at Newcastle when last seen but the first-time visor might be a help returning to 7f and he looks worthy of an each-way bet at the prices.
2.23 Haydock
Balmoral Lady (14/1) won four times in the latter half of last season before finishing second in Listed grade at Doncaster over 6f on heavy ground. She ran a cracker in third from a terrible draw at Chester on latest, an effort that should be marked up massively, and deserves her place here.
