3.10 Southwell

Perfect Swiss carries top weight in this ultra competitive handicap but the gelding deserves to go off clear favourite for this content. He met plenty of trouble when a staying on third at Newcastle two weeks ago and runs from the very same mark. He has winning course and distance form and will relish conditions for a trainer in decent form.

5.15 Kempton

Haku produced a career best when bolting up over course and distance last month, looking miles ahead of the handicapper. Now up 5lb in the weights for that, he is still well treated on that evidence and should be difficult to beat. The draw in stall eight won’t be an issue over this 1m4f distance and he is effectively running off 2lb lower than last time as Billy Loughnane takes 7lb off in the plate.

7.45 Kempton

Aramis Grey is absolutely thriving at present, scoring back to back at Chelmsford and Kempton before going down by a short head in the Sprint Series Final here at Kempton when last seen. That’s as strong as it gets form wise and the mare won’t go down without a proper fight here.
