Sunday’s three biggest market movers include a 40-1 shot backed into 14-1 📉

Windsor Racecourse

We like to keep our eye on the markets as plenty can be learned from doing so. With this in mind, we’ve found the three biggest market movers on Sunday. These include one horse that was available at 40-1 the previous evening and sustained support has seen it cut into 14-1. Check out our free tips page for daily content across British and Irish racing.

2.20 Curragh

Tiktok Time was as big as 20-1 on Saturday evening but her odds have since been cut into just 15-2. David Marnane’s charge is very lightly raced, having had just five starts so far. It was a much improved performance on her second handicap start at Cork last time out, when finishing fourth. The handicapper was perhaps a little harsh but there should be plenty more to come.

2.35 Windsor

Largo Bay was a massive 40-1 but is currently available at a fraction of that price, at 14-1. Michael Madgwick’s gelding has been out of form so far this season but he has sunk to a very nice mark as a result. His last victory came off 67 and he’s currently rated 6lb lower than that. It seems likely that his fortunes will change sooner rather than later and he’s been backed as if a big run is expected.

3.10 Downpatrick

Self Assessed has been well-backed on Sunday morning and is 10-1, having been priced up at 28-1 on the previous evening. Sean Aherne’s six-year-old has a substantial absence to overcome, having been off the track for 469 days. There’s clearly some confidence behind this horse though, as the support continues to come. This is his handicap debut over hurdles and that could inspire plenty of improvement.
