Seven winners this week: Hottest trainer in Britain sends two to Chepstow 🔥🔥

Olly Murphy cheers home Skandiburg at Cheltenham

Trainer Olly Murphy is the hottest trainer in Britain right now and has to be worth following while his string is in red hot form. Murphy has saddled seven winners from his last 11 runners from Monday and Tuesday solely, and the other four finished either second or third respectively. The yard send two runners to Chepstow Racecourse on Thursday and we have our eyes on both! Make sure you check out our free horse racing tips for daily racing.

2.00 Chepstow

Oakley Dancer is the first of the Murphy pair on Thursday and she will run in the opening mares’ novices’ hurdle over two miles. She ran with promise in a Hexham bumper on debut last May and ran respectably when third of 14 in a good ground novice hurdle at Lingfield in February. She disappointed on soft ground when last seen at Huntingdon so soft, heavy in places has to be a slight concern for her here. Nonetheless, she has low miles on the clock and the yard is flying.

5.25 Chepstow

The final runner for Olly Murphy at Chepstow runs in the bumper and that is the mare Tintagel Queen. The well bred daughter of Camelot ran better than the bare result would suggest when fifth of eight runners at Market Rasen on Boxing Day. The horse that finished right in front of her in fourth that day has since bolted up which is promising and Lewis Stones will take 5lb off her back here. She should progress and has to be a serious player as normal improvement would bring her right into the reckoning here.
