It’s another day of great action and Adrian Wall is back with his weekly feast of ITV Racing outsiders. He has picked out three horses who should outrun their large odds live on TV at Royal Ascot on Saturday. Adrian is in cracking form and had provided followers with 22/1 & 14/1 winners of late.
Bellum Justum (25/1) has the form to get involved in the finish if near his best. He won twice last season and finished third in the Hampton Court at this meeting. He also went on to win a Group 2 at Newmarket and although he didn’t show his best in the Coronation Cup at Epsom, this track should suit him better.
James’s Delight (33/1) will be ridden by the man of the moment, Colin Keane, and looks overpriced. Clive Cox’s charge won four times last year and was beaten only four lengths in the Group 1 Champions Sprint over C&D on the final start of the year. He arrives here on the back of a Greenlands Stakes win at the Curragh last month and should be in the mix if he can just improve a tad on that.
Yah Mo Be There (28/1) likes fast ground and won a Listed race on good to firm at Newbury last summer over 6f. He needed the run in a Newbury Group 3 on return and was far from disgraced when last seen finishing around eight lengths back in the 2,000 Guineas. This is a big drop in grade and he might surprise.
