Saturday ITV Outsiders: Nicky Henderson horse looks overpriced at 16/1

Adrian Wall is back with his weekly feast of ITV Racing outsiders and he has picked out three horses who should outrun their large odds on Saturday. Make sure you check out our free horse racing tips for the weekend, and remember, always bet responsibly.

1.15 Kempton

No Ordinary Joe won a 2m handicap here in December 2022 on what has been his only prior run at the track and he went on to finish second in the Martin Pipe at the Cheltenham Festival. That may well be his target again but he is now only 1lb higher in the weights and he should have every chance if he can bounce back from a poor effort at Doncaster.

2.08 Newcastle

Cruz Control is a big brute of a horse who will relish testing conditions and although this is his first crack at an extreme trip, he might just see it out. He opened his account here over fences here in November over 2m4f and looked one paced in the closing stages when second at Doncaster twice since. Maybe this step up in trip is the answer!

2.45 Southwell

It will be interesting to see if money comes for the Irish raider Thunderbear, while Clarendon House is the class act in the field. However at likely large odds, Aberama Gold can put in a good shift. He won five times last season and was far from disgraced when fourth in Listed company at Lingfield when last seen in November. A great servant to connections, he could take advantage if the favourite fails to run his race and he’s not to be discounted at a large price.
